Reviii Privacy Notice Effective August 20, 2026
Last updated August 20, 2026

Reviii is Revelation Agency’s shared Slack bridge to one coordinated system with five modes: Assist, Ops, Sales, Outreach, and Marketing. Each customer receives only the modes, tools, data connections, and permissions configured for that organization. This notice describes Reviii’s handling of Slack and connected-service data.

01 / Scope

Who this notice covers

This notice applies when an organization installs or uses the Reviii Slack app, or when an authorized person interacts with a Reviii capability connected to that Slack installation. Revelation Agency, located in Clovis, California, operates Reviii for its customers.

The customer organization controls which Reviii modes are enabled, which channels and people may use them, and which external systems may be connected. Customer-specific agreements may set additional or shorter retention and access rules.

02 / Data we collect

Only what the enabled work requires

Slack identifiersWorkspace, app, channel, thread, message, file, user, and installation identifiers; timestamps; and event-delivery identifiers needed to authenticate, route, deduplicate, and reply to an authorized request.
Authorized contentMessages and thread history sent in approved channels or surfaces, plus files an authorized user intentionally shares with Reviii, such as voice notes, images, or PDFs.
Connected-service dataOnly the records and fields required for an enabled workflow, such as contact, opportunity, pipeline, calendar, campaign, project, or operational data from the customer’s expressly configured account.
Operational evidenceSanitized audit records, request and response receipts, delivery status, tool results, approval state, errors, security events, and configuration versions used to make work reliable and reviewable.
Support dataInformation a customer or user sends to Revelation Agency when requesting support, access, correction, export, or deletion.
Tenant boundaries matter. A Reviii deployment is configured to reject absent, mismatched, or unapproved workspace, channel, user, account, and tenant identifiers. Data is not supposed to fall back to another customer’s account.
03 / How we use data

To perform the request and protect the system

We use collected data to:

  • authenticate an installation and enforce its channel, user, tenant, and tool permissions;
  • understand and respond in the originating Slack conversation or thread;
  • retrieve or update an authorized connected system when the enabled workflow permits it;
  • maintain context, plans, approvals, schedules, and receipts needed for reliable work;
  • detect duplicates, recover interrupted work, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and investigate security incidents;
  • provide support and improve reliability using sanitized operational evidence; and
  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect people, customers, Revelation Agency, and Slack.

We do not use Slack data for advertising, unrelated profiling, or contacting a person outside the authorized workflow.

04 / AI processing

AI is a processor, not a new owner

Reviii may send the minimum relevant message content and connected-service context to an AI model provider selected for the customer’s deployment. The model is used to interpret the authorized request, reason over supplied context, draft or return a response, and decide which approved tool path may be appropriate.

We do not use Slack data to train Reviii or general-purpose AI models. We do not sell Slack data, create advertising profiles from it, or give an AI model independent permission to act outside the deployment’s configured tools and safeguards.

AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Reviii uses deterministic permissions, tenant binding, approvals, receipts, and read-back checks around higher-impact actions, but authorized users remain responsible for reviewing consequential decisions.

05 / Sharing

Limited service providers, never a data market

We may disclose data to vendors that operate infrastructure required for the enabled service—for example Slack, hosting and security providers, configured AI model providers, and the customer’s connected CRM, calendar, file, project, or communication systems. These providers receive data only for the relevant service function and are subject to their own agreements and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose data if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and system integrity; during a corporate transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice; or at the customer’s direction.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent customer data or disclose it to data brokers.

06 / Retention

Long enough to operate; not forever by default

Installation credentials are retained while the Slack installation is active. Conversation state, authorized attachments, connected-service receipts, plans, approvals, and audit evidence may be retained for the active service period so Reviii can preserve context, recover interrupted work, and show what happened.

When a customer uninstalls Reviii or ends the service, Revelation Agency will delete or de-identify associated Slack data within 14 business days, unless a customer agreement requires a shorter period or a limited record must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Backup copies are removed through the normal backup rotation.

A verified deletion request can also trigger earlier deletion of data that is not required to maintain security, honor another person’s rights, or comply with law.

07 / Your choices and rights

Access, correction, export, or deletion

You or your workspace administrator may ask us to:

  • explain the categories of data associated with you or your installation;
  • provide access to or a portable copy of eligible data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete eligible data or disconnect the installation; or
  • describe the service providers involved in processing.

Email connect@revelationagency.com or use our contact form. Put “Reviii privacy request” in the subject or message. We may verify your identity and relationship to the workspace before acting. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.

You may also remove Reviii from Slack through your workspace’s app-management controls, subject to your organization’s administrator permissions.

08 / Security

Layered, least-privilege safeguards

Revelation Agency uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service, including encrypted transport, encrypted stored credentials, server-side secret handling, least-privilege Slack scopes, allowlisted users and surfaces, exact tenant bindings, replay protection, durable receipts, audit trails, and fail-closed checks around sensitive actions.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe Reviii exposed data or credentials, contact us immediately at connect@revelationagency.com.

09 / Changes

Material changes will be visible

We may update this notice as Reviii, our vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. We will provide additional notice through an appropriate customer or Slack channel before a material change that meaningfully expands how existing data is used.

Reviii is not directed to children under 13, and Revelation Agency does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the Slack app.
